<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein an IC chip which is fixed by a fitting material, such as a staple is difficult for reuse of the IC chip, once the fitting material is removed. <P>SOLUTION: A method is for attaching an article identifier storage medium (2) that stores an article identifier for identifying an article to the article. A member (3), with the article identifier storage medium (2) attached, is positioned at a place in between a fitting metal (1) and the article (4), where the fitting metal (1) is directed, and a part of the fitting material (1) is made to pass through the member (3) and is driven into the article (4), thereby making the article identifier storage medium (2) fix to the article. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
