<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably keep control data at the time of turning off an ignition switch while lowering a dark current of a volatile memory and reducing the number of writings into a non-volatile memory in an electronic controller comprising the volatile memory and the non-volatile memory. <P>SOLUTION: After turning off the ignition switch 19, the control data are stored in the volatile memory 42 until a predetermined time elapses. Thereby, the number of writings into the non-volatile memory can be sharply reduced. After the lapse of the predetermined time, the control data stored in the volatile-memory 42 are written into the non-volatile memory 9, and then power supply to the volatile memory 42 from a power circuit 7 is stopped. Thereby, the control data can be reliably kept at the volatile memory 42 or the non-volatile memory 9, and the dark current in the volatile memory 9 can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
