<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing frame constituted so that toner is prevented from leaking out of the periphery of a magnetic sealing member and the magnetic sealing member can be easily attached to the developing frame. <P>SOLUTION: As for the developing frame including developer, a developing roller for carrying the developer, a developer control member for controlling the quantity of the developer carried by the developing roller and the sealing member for sealing in the developer at the longitudinal end part of the developing roller, a wall nearly vertical to the longitudinal direction of the developing roller is arranged between a developing chamber and the sealing member, and the wall is provided with a positioning surface in the longitudinal direction of the developing roller of the sealing member.
