<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a thermistor usable under broader conditions than the conventional thermistor. <P>SOLUTION: The material for the thermistor comprises a nitride indicated by the formula MxAyNz. In the formula, M denotes at least one selected from the group consisting of Ta, Nb, Cr, Ti, and Zr; A denotes at least one selected from the group consisting of Al, Si, and B; and x, y, and z satisfy the relations: 0.1≤x≤0.8, 0<y≤0.6, 0.1≤z≤0.8, and x+y+z=1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
