<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen split display system which is displayed only in a display mode to which an application can cope with. <P>SOLUTION: The screen division display system comprises: a window system 1 provided with the plurality of applications AP1-APn, in which the display mode of the system is changed to a different display mode by the application AP1 whose display order is the highest; a data base 4 storing a list in which the propriety of display for the plurality of display modes is set for each application beforehand; a display mode change detection part 2 for detecting change to the different display mode; and an application management part 2 for referring to the display order and the list stored in the database 4 when the change to the different display mode is detected, allocating the application to a divided area in the different display mode and changing the display order so as to perform the display according to the allocation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
