<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet correction device capable of properly correcting a soft sheet to give stiffness and not preventing passing of a hard sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet delivery part 15 is provided in an upper part of a housing 10 of an image formation device 1. Paper sheet P after fixing image is delivered into the sheet delivery part 15 through a sheet delivery passage 14 and is stacked. A sheet correction device 20 is arranged at an outlet of the sheet delivery passage 14. The sheet correction device 20 is provided with a correction piece 30 rotating around a shaft 16. The correction piece 30 is energized by a torsion coil spring 40 so that it comes into contact with a sheet P changing its direction from the vertical direction into the horizontal direction at a position where it approaches a direction conversion part closely from above. If the sheet P is soft, a rising shape extending in the direction of conveyance is formed in the sheet P by the correction piece 30. Consequently, curl peculiarity of the sheet P is corrected and stiffness is given to the sheet P. If the sheet P is hard, the correction piece 30 is retreated by repulsion force from the sheet P and does not prevent advance of the sheet P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
