PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound network apparatus including a virtual private network function and a wireless LAN function and its embodiment method.

SOLUTION: In the compound network apparatus including the function of a virtual private network and the function of a wireless LAN and its embodiment method, particularly, a virtual private network module for carrying out a function of a virtual private network hardware accelerator is included in a wireless LAN module for carrying out the function of the wireless LAN, and the two functions of the wireless LAN and the virtual private network are embodies in one apparatus. Thus, all the function for the wireless LAN and the function for the virtual private network can be carried out as one compound network apparatus.
