摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake system of an automobile controlling flow of pressure fluid from a tandem type master cylinder in a plurality of wheel brakes through a pair of brake circuits. SOLUTION: A pressure pipe passage in each circuit has a usually closed valve, a low pressure accumulator, a pump, a check valve, an interference chamber, and a throttle orifice which are arranged in series. A bypass pipe passage has a usually closed bypass valve, which is operated to connect pressure relief pipe passages of the first and second brake circuits on the downstream side of a pump outlet. Consequently, one or a plurality of wheel brakes are operated to reduce response time of the system when increasing traction property or stability of a vehicle. Redundancy of the brake system is increased by the check valve connecting circuits on one side or both sides on the downstream side of a bypass connection part or a second usually closed bypass valve in the bypass pipe passage.
