PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the vibration of an optical disk device and to prevent dust thereof without disposing any special space for installing a dynamic vibration absorber when the dynamic vibration absorber is mounted on the slim optical disk device. SOLUTION: This optical disk device is constituted in such a manner that a unit mechanism 100 having a motor 300 for rotating a disk and an optical head 400 for reading the information from the disk is attached to a disk tray with an elastic body. An optical head guide mechanism for guiding an optical head, and a unit mechanism cover 111 for covering a part of the optical head are disposed, the unit mechanism cover 111 is connected to the unit mechanism 100 with a spring 120b and/or rubber, a dynamic vibration absorber comprises the spring 120b and/or rubber, and the unit mechanism cover 111 which functions as a mass point, and the main vibration axis of the spring and/or rubber matches the vibration direction of the unit mechanism cover.
