PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the user's trouble and shorten the ejecting time when there are a plurality of recording media which the user wants to eject from a recording medium device. SOLUTION: This recording medium device has: a housing part 20 for housing a plurality of recording media 100; an ejection port 12 for ejecting the recording media 100 housed in the housing part 20 out of the device; a designating means (user operating part 46 and OSD 47) for enabling the user to designate a plurality of recording media 100 to eject through the ejection port 12 among the plurality of recording media 100 housed in the housing part 20; and a control means (system controller 30) for sequentially and continuously ejecting the plurality of recording media 100 designated by using the designating means.
