PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit, a semiconductor memory chip and a semiconductor memory device capable of speedily reading the data from a memory, and to provide a data read method capable of speedily reading the data from memory. SOLUTION: For instance, when a clock signal CK set to a 75% duty ratio is used, its falling timing is generated with a delayed. Hence, after the point in time (corresponding to timing (5)) when read-out data come into the decided state (valid state), it becomes possible to reliably latch the read-out data in the decided state (VALID state) at the falling timing (corresponding to timing (6)).
