PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame structure of a rigid frame building, which has large-span trough columns, and can form a large opening in the building by reinforcing the columns in a simple structure. SOLUTION: The frame structure A of the rigid frame body is constructed by erecting the trough columns 2 on a foundation 1, and horizontally erecting a lower-story beam 3 and an upper-story beam 3 between the continuous columns. In the frame structure, reinforcing columns 4 are erected at side locations of the respective through columns 2 so as to be adjacent to the same, on a lower story or an upper story. Then upper and lower edges of each reinforcing column 4 is fixed to the lower-story beam 3 and the foundation 1, or to the upper- and lower-story beams 3, and the through column 2 and the reinforcing column 4 adjacent to each other are connected together via a connection fitting 5.
