PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operating noise caused by an electromagnetic solenoid apparatus 4 built into a shift lever releasing apparatus of an automatic transmission vehicle so that it is advantageous in terms of cost by utilizing an existing coil spring Sp. SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic solenoid apparatus, a plunger 11 is energized in an axial direction by a coil spring Sp for returning. The plunger 11 is rotated and energized by the coil spring Sp, so that a pin 13 can constantly slide at a long hole section 17 of an extension arm 14. As a result, the plunger 11 is displaced while the pin 13 constantly slides at the long hole section 17 following energization or non-energization to a coil 5, thus preventing the pin 13 from clattering in the long hole section 17. Additionally, the plunger 11 is displaced in a two-point contact state in the bobbin by reaction when the pin 13 slides at the long hole section 17, so that the plunger 11 does not clatter in the bobbin.
