For improved searchability of images of the inside of the body and easy recognition of which organ a displayed image is, an average-color bar (507) indicating the total image-taking period of images taken by a capsule endoscope in time series is displayed. A movable slider (S) is displayed above the average-color bar (507). In conjunction with the movement of the slider (S), an image taken at the time corresponding to the position of the slider (S) is displayed in an image display field (503). Average colors based on data of taken images are displayed at a temporally corresponding position on the average-color bar (507).
