<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method with excellent jetting stability and ink absorbing properties, and good printing density, blotting with time and light-resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording method, a recording is performed on a medium for inkjet recording prepared by providing a coloring material receiving layer of a porous structure comprising at least a polymer particulate on a substrate by using an ink composition comprising a colored particulate dispersion comprising at least one hydrophobic coloring matter, at least one hydrophobic polymer and at least one high boiling point organic solvent. It is characterized that a fine pore volume (A/B) per unit thickness of the coloring material receiving layer which is a value obtained by dividing a fine pore volume A (×10<SP>-5</SP>ml/cm<SP>2</SP>) of the coloring material receiving layer at the same fine pore diameter as the particle diameter of the polymer particulate obtained from a fine pore distribution curve by a nitrogen gas adsorption method, by a dry film thickness B (μm) of the coloring material receiving layer, is ≥2.0 (×10<SP>-5</SP>ml/cm<SP>2</SP>/μm). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
