<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module substitution system, substitution program, substitution method and the like in which an optimal module is automatically substituted by monitoring the situations that user utilize apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: Information on the utilization situations is acquired from each of multiple apparatuses 200 with built-in modules via a network N, information on an error is detected from the information, a module associated with control relating to said error is then elucidated from the error information, and a new module to be replaced with said module is prepared and substituted with the former module. Thus, an optimal module is automatically prepared and can be provided for the arbitrary apparatus 200 with the built-in module without troubling a user, thereby remarkably decreasing the frequency of error or fault occurrence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
