<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration technique of a bent pressure tester for accurately measuring a bent pressure of a valve element of rubber to be incorporated into a safety valve for a sealed type secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: A relief valve 80 with a metal-made spring 81 and with an operation pressure is preset thereto is held to a holding unit 40, when a bent pressure tester 30 of a safety valve for a sealed type secondary battery 10 is calibrated. A pressure stepup rate of a pressure in a gas line due to a pressure stepup unit 60 is regulated by regulating a pressure stepup rate regulation unit 70 so that the pressure of the gas line 50, measured by a measuring means 51 when it is detected that a gas is relieved from an exhaust opening 82 of the relief valve 80 by a bent detecting means 53, expresses the operation pressure of the relief valve 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
