摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonacqueous electrolyte secondary battery with a high energy density and enhanced security.

SOLUTION: The battery has a positive electrode mix layer containing a lithium nickel compound oxide and a negative electrode mix layer containing a negative active material capable of storing and releasing lithium, and the positive electrode mix layer includes 1-10 wt% of diniobium pentoxide (Nb2O5).
