<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide knife-protecting clothe, for example, a knife-protecting apron, that is inexpensive, light in weight, has no resistant feeling to ordinary persons, can be put on while its size is adjusted and has excellent motility/flexibility/and air permeability. <P>SOLUTION: This knife-protecting apron employs a plurality of knife-protecting plates 20 that are made of rectangular resin plates each of which is bent along the human body. These knife-protecting rectangular plates 20 are detachably fixed to the apron 10 with snap fasteners 12, 21 along its side edges. The knife-protecting plate 20 is constituted with two members and their middle parts are overlaid mutually in an appropriate length so that they may be adjustable properly along their lengths, thus the apron can be put on. They may be made adjustable according to the length of the waist size.
