RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the load resistance of a thrust bearing put between a front head and a thrust flange in a reciprocating compressor.

SOLUTION: In a compressor provided with a shaft 8 rotated by external driving force and a reciprocating mechanism for converting a rotary motion of the shaft 8 to a linear reciprocating motion in an axial direction, and reciprocating a piston by the reciprocating mechanism, a thrust bearing 18 is put between the thrust flange 16 and the front head 5 which are parts constructing the reciprocating mechanism and two rows of the thrust bearings 18 are provided in a radial direction. A gap 46 expanding toward outside in a radial direction is provided between the thrust bearing 18 and the front head 5.
