PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording method capable of setting optimal information recording conditions when information is recorded on an optical disk, and thus capable of recording without any errors. SOLUTION: According to the optical disk recording method, when recording data stored in a buffer are recorded in an optical disk by an optical head, the focusing signal and the track signal of the optical head and a phase difference between the sync signal of the address of the optical disk and a reference sync signal are detected, and determination is made as to whether these are within prescribed values or not (SP1 to SP3). When they are within the prescribed values, data buffer processing is executed to write the recording data in the optical disk at a predetermined recording speed (SP4). When they are outside the prescribed values, the write-recording of the recording data is stopped (SP11), and processing for resetting a recording speed (SP12) is executed.
