PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizer of a refrigerator, with an ozone generating means having long-term durability, and keeping enough deodorizing performance and germ removing performance even in a long-time use. SOLUTION: The deodorizer 1 includes: a duct 2 having a flow passage for cold air; an adsorption deodorizing filter 16 disposed in the duct 2; and an ultraviolet lamp 17 for emitting ultraviolet light containing ultraviolet rays having a wavelength from 100 nm to 300 nm disposed on the upstream side of the adsorption deodorizing filter 16. Since the ultraviolet lamp 17 is no-electrode type which has no electrode in the inside of the lamp, even in the case of the refrigerator to which combustible coolant is applied, there is no possibility of explosion, ozone is generated, deterioration of the electrode is not caused, whereby regeneration using ozone for the filter performing adsorption deodorization can be secured during a long period of time so that enough deodorizing performance can be kept even in a long-time use.
