PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate which can serve as decoration, and which can prevent the occurrence of a burglary case where a main entrance door is opened for intrusion by destroying an opening for a mailbox, opened in the main entrance door, made of iron, of each dwelling unit of an apartment house etc., and by inserting a burglar's hand into the destroyed opening so that a knob of a lock can be turned. SOLUTION: A decorative frame material, which is mounted at the edge of the opening for the mailbox of the main entrance door, is demounted. In the plate, a protrusive part, which can be inserted and fitted into the opening for the mailbox, is protrusively provided on a backside, and a female screw is drilled into the protrusive part. The protrusive part of the plate is inserted into the opening from the front side of the door; a sandwiching plate with a bolt inserting hole is made to face the plate from the backside of the door; and the plate and the sandwiching plate are integrated with each other by a screw bolt so that the opening can be closed. Thus, destruction from the front side of the door is prevented, and the plate, which is designed in a plate shape so as to serve as the decoration for a main entrance, can differentiate the dwelling unit from the adjacent dwelling unit.
