PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power height adjustment device formed sturdily with less risk of failure and embodied in a small and low-cost construction. SOLUTION: The power height adjustment device is structured so that a rod 15 is made rotatable while a rear lock mechanism 20 is put in the unlocked condition in case the rear of the power height adjustment device is adjusted low, and a rod 14 is made not rotatable by putting the front lock mechanism 40 in the locked condition, and a male threaded member 69 is rotated by a motor 71 in the direction that a female threaded member 68 approaches a gear 70. This causes the female threaded member 68 and a mounting member 66 to move in the direction of Arrowαin (A) of the illustration, and the forefronts of brackets 63 and 64 are drawn, and a member Mb consisting of brackets 62 and 63 rotates in the direction of Arrowγround the rod 15, and the rear of a frame member 60 is pulled up in the direction of Arrow Y.
