PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a resin molded product having an insert member, capable of preventing even an insert member, to which no high pressure can be applied, from deformation or damage, and a manufacturing apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: In a first process, a laminated core 50 is placed on a low mold 1. In a second process, slide molds 3 and 4 are allowed to advance to bring lateral slide cores 31 and 41 into contact with the laminated core 50 and the lateral slide cores 31 and 41 are subsequently brought into contact with the laminated core 50 under an urging force of compression coil springs 34, 44. In a third process, the lateral slide cores 31 and 41 are held between the lower mold 1 and the upper mold 2 to be fixed so as to be made impossible to slide and a cavity C is formed by the laminated core 50, the lower mold 1, the upper mold 2 and the lateral slide cores 31 and 41.
