Device has a first body (1) made from steel and an insulator (2) comprising a ceramic element (5). The latter has a copper layer (6, 8) on either side of it. The copper on a fist side of the insulator is coated with nickel or chromium with the first body welded to it. An independent claim is made for a method for producing a device.
