<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out recording with a recording quality required on the basis of a visual observation distance, by setting a recording mode while the distance to visually recognize a recording medium is first taken into consideration, and also to carry out recording superiorly balanced with a productivity. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device comprises a recording part 6 with an inkjet system recording head and a head scanning mechanism for scanning the recording head in a direction orthogonal to a transfer direction of the recording medium, a recording mode setting device 3 for setting the recording mode on the basis of the visual observation distance to visually recognize the recording medium, and a controller 7 for controlling the operation of the recording part to carry out recording by the set recording mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
