<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a radio controlled watch capable of accurately selecting a transmitting station optimum for reception even in the case of the presence of a large number of transmitting stations for transmitting standard electric waves, determining the order of reception, and preferentially receiving the standard electric waves of the transmitting station optimum for reception. <P>SOLUTION: The radio controlled watch comprises a reception part 20 for selectively receiving standard electric waves from the plurality of transmitting stations and outputting a demodulation signal P1; a decoder circuit 21a for decoding the demodulation signal and outputting time information and reception information; a timing circuit 21e for timing the time information from the decoder circuit; a display part 3 for displaying time timed by the timing circuit; a memory circuit 22 for storing the reception information from the decoder circuit as reception history information; a reception order determining circuit 21c for determining the order of reception of the plurality of transmitting stations on the basis of the reception history information stored in the memory circuit; and a control circuit 21d for selecting standard electric waves from the transmitting station optimum for reception by controlling the reception part on the basis of the order of reception. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
