<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared imaging device capable of enhancing the quality of infrared images obtained when a high-beam headlamp structure is used for an infrared lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The infrared imaging device for a vehicle includes a bulb 12 for high-beam headlamp that emits a light containing an infrared light and a visible light, an infrared filter 30, an infrared camera for receiving a reflected light of the infrared light passing through the infrared filter 30 and irradiated ahead of the vehicle, position switching means (34, 35, 36, etc.) for switching the position of the infrared filter 30 between a first position within a light route from the bulb 12 to the refelector and a second position outside of the route, and position changing means (34, 35, 36, 38, etc.) for moving the reflector 14 forward and/or moving the bulb 12 backward, when the position of the infrared filter 30 is switched from the second position to the first position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
