<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive lithographic printing plate material, which has plate wearability and exposure visible picturability excellent as a general purpose processless plate and can be press developable and a printing method, which brings stable plate wearability under the condition that the thermosensitive lithographic printing plate material is employed therein and has no fear of press pollution. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermosensitive lithographic printing material, the Lab values of light indices and chromaticness indices of an unexposed portion after image-like exposure or heating or an unheated portion of the topmost surfaces on the side having an image forming layer of a support are 60≤L*≤80, -10≤a*≤10 and -10≤b*≤10 and the color difference (ΔE) between the exposed or heated portion and the unexposed or unheated portion is set to be at least 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
