<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator, improved in convenience in practical use. <P>SOLUTION: This refrigerator 10 includes a double door structure composed of an opaque lower main door 21 and a partially transparent lower sub-door 23 (a transparent plate 23T), and communicates with the outside through the Internet 50 on the basis of information input using a display panel 4 of a touch panel type provided on the lower main door 21. A user of the refrigerator 10 places an order for food by operating the display panel 4 at the height substantially equal to his visual line while directly checking the storage status of food stored in a refrigerating room 2 through the transparent plate 23T with the lower sub-door 23 still closed and only with the lower main door 21 opened.
