METHOD FOR DESIGNING DISCHARGING PIPE OF DISCHARGE GAS TREATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing a discharging pipe of a discharge gas treating device that can realize stable pulse corona discharge easily in the discharging pipe arranging coaxially linear internal electrode in cylindrical external electrode.

SOLUTION: The ratio of R to r of an internal radius R of the external electrode 4 toward an external radius r of the internal electrode 6 of the discharging pipe 2 arranging coaxially the linear internal electrode 6 in the cylindrical external electrode 4 is calculated and the internal radius R in the external electrode 4 and the external radius r of the internal electrode 6 are set so that the ratio of R to r should be larger than 30.
