<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for judging the original or an imitation by which high counterfeit-preventing effects and security effects on a note and a secret important document are provided. <P>SOLUTION: The properties of a paper the original or an imitation of which is required to be judged are compared and collated with the true paper by using the periodically changing properties of the paper. The periodically changing properties of the paper are controlled by changing a production process of the paper, or a member such as a papermaking wire, cloth and roll which are the cause thereof, and the values of the properties are obtained by irradiating the paper with a light or energy rays, and measuring the transmitted light or the reflected light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
