PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the quick easy gradation converting process. SOLUTION: The image processor 1 in an image processing system 100 executes five steps of process in such order as gradation conversion of images, input image conversion, color and brightness adjustment, contrast adjustment, tone reproduction characteristics adjustment (output gradation reproduction characteristics adjustment), and output apparatus characteristics adjustment. A designating input unit 3 is provided with color and brightness adjusting keys and a contrast adjusting key. For the gradation conversion of images recorded on a reversal film, the color and brightness adjustment is divided into a second color and brightness adjustment and a second contrast adjustment, and executed in this order based on the exposure condition at photographing.
