<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both the work efficiency of mutual heat fusion of waterproof sheets and the joining quality of a fusion part. <P>SOLUTION: In the heat fusion method of the waterproof sheets, a pair of waterproof sheets 7 are arranged in the overlapped state of the edge parts, and a hot air blowoff nozzle 22 is inserted between the upper waterproof sheet 7A and the lower waterproof sheet 7B and moved along the longitudinal direction of the overlapped part K to sequentially heat and fuse the mutual fused object faces of both waterproof sheets 7. On the rear side of the moving direction, the fused parts of both waterproof sheets 7 are pressed down by a pressure roller 25 from the top of the upper waterproof sheet 7A to carry out the mutual fusion of the pair of waterproof sheets 7.
