<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a colored microparticle dispersion which contributes to color gamut widening and improved image quality by the heightening of ink concentration and image density and is satisfactory both in high concentration and fixability and in rubbing resistance, to provide an inkjet recording ink, and to provide a technique of easily producing a highly concentrated ink. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the colored microparticle dispersion comprises the steps of dissolving an oil-soluble dye and a resin in an organic solvent, and emulsifying and dispersing the solution in water, removing the organic solvent from the emulsion to obtain a dispersion of colored microparticles comprising the oil-soluble dye and the resin, and concentrating the obtained dispersion by using an ultrafilter membrane or a reverse osmosis membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
