PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor start induction motor which can effectively suppress electromagnetic oscillations and electromagnetic noises by reducing tertiary higher harmonics of stator magnetmotive force. SOLUTION: The capacitor start induction motor with two poles is provided with six teeth 3 extended in the inner diametric direction and coils Aa,Ab,Ba,Bb,Ca, and Cb concentratedly wound around the teeth 3 respectively on the inner periphery of the stator 1. The difference of an electric phase angle of a current flowing in the adjacent coils Aa and Ba, Ba and Ca, Ca and Ab, Ab and Bb, Bb and Cb, and Cb and Aa wound around the teeth 3 is set to 60°(π/3).
