PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual-mode band pass filter having superior design versatility and by which a desired band width and the filter characteristics of a center frequency are easily obtained and impedance is set to a desired value. SOLUTION: The dual-mode band pass filter 1 comprises: a dielectric substrate 2; a resonator electrode 3 provided at a height position of the dielectric substrate 2; and a ground electrode 6 provided at a height position different from that of the resonator electrode 3 so that the ground electrode 6 may face the resonator electrode 3 in the dielectric substrate 2. The ground electrode 6 has a through hole 6a provided so that two resonance modes generated on the resonator electrode 3 by controlling a resonance electric field may be coupled to each other.
