PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antifogging agent having long-term storage stability and excellent workability at normal temperature and forming a coating film having sufficient water resistance at normal temperature. SOLUTION: This antifogging agent is composed of (A) a liquid containing a hydrophilic inorganic amorphous substance such as water glass and a solvent and (B) a liquid containing hydrophilic metal oxide particles and a cure accelerator of the hydrophilic inorganic amorphous substance at least in dispersed state and having pH or 8.0-12.0.
