PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect the degradation in insulation, by reducing the influence of a noise, even in the arrangement near a high-voltage electric installation. SOLUTION: The insulation degradation detection device 1 is the device for detecting the degradation in the insulation of each power distribution line for the power supply installation, in which the plurality of power distribution lines (D1 and D2-Dn) branching from a bus-bar 11 connected to a power supply 10 are disposed. The detection device 1 is provided with: a transformer 4 for a meter provided on the bus-bar 11; a voltage detector 5 for detecting the phase voltage or the voltage between lines and the zero-phase voltage, connected to the transformer 4 for the meter; zero-phase current transformers (A1 and A2-An) respectively provided to the plurality of power distribution lines; current detectors (B1 and B2-Bn) respectively connected to the zero-phase current transformers; and an insulation degradation determination device 2 connected with the voltage detector 5, respective current detectors, and optical cables (C1 and C2-Cn) and having an insulation degradation determination function 21 and a notification function 22.
