PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust vertical position of laser radiation with a compact and inexpensive structure without mechanically adjusting mounting position of a laser radar by using an actuator and the like. SOLUTION: Laser for search is radiated toward a front direction of one's own vehicle by two dimensional scanning. Laser scanning range of the laser radar 12 for receiving its reflected light is set in a manner freely movable in the vertical direction of the two dimensional scanning by an ECU 16 as a scanning range control means.
