PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit type building by which its storing space is conveniently used and its construction cost is suppressed by restricting a height of the whole building. SOLUTION: An inside of an intermediate floor unit 20 arranged on the first floor is partitioned into upper and lower spaces by an intermediate floor 21. The partitioned lower space is made to be a garage 1E and the upper space is made to be the storing space 30. The intermediate floor unit 20 and a staircase unit 15 are arranged to adjoin each other, and the storing space 30 and a landing 1H space of a staircase 1G are made to communicate with each other. Consequently, the whole building is not heightened and the construction cost is held down in spite of arranging the garage 1E and the storing space 30 in the building, and the storing space 30 is accessible from the landing 1H of the staircase 1G so that articles can be carried in and out easily.
