摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling structure for lower part of a center pillar and a rocker part capable of improving a welding quality while assuring a twisting rigidity of the coupling part and further capable of reducing its cost. SOLUTION: A connecting part 34 of a bulk head structure 30 arranged in a rocker part 20 is cut down from an upper edge side, and a lower end part 12A of a center pillar inner panel 12 is spot welded to a circumferential edge 38A of a recess part 38. Accordingly, a twisting rigidity at this part is assured. Further, the connecting part 34 is cut down and a spot welding location 42 between the connecting part 34 and the lower end part 12A of the center pillar inner panel 12 is arranged just above a lower end flange (a part A) of the rocker part 20, so that an arc welding work between the center pillar reinforcement 14 and a rocker reinforcement 24 is not inhibited by the connecting part 34 and a welding quality is also improved.
