PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction treatment apparatus having a unconventionally new structure. SOLUTION: The reaction treatment apparatus 10 is composed of an oscillator 11, a coaxial cable 12, a waveguide 13, a coaxial cable 14 and a dummy load 15. A sample plate 90 to which a sample is fixed is inserted into the waveguide 13 of the reaction treatment apparatus 10 and the sample is irradiated with microwave. As a result, charged molecule of a reagent is vibrated and heated by an electromagnetic field of microwave to promote reagent reaction of the sample. The reagent reaction may be controlled by detecting the temperature of the sample or reflected wave may be suppressed by installing a stub tuner in the waveguide 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
