A first disk (23,26) transmits axial forces over a mean effective radius via needle bearings (33,36) to a second counter-rotating disk (25,37). This second disk is exposed to counter-forces over a second dissimilar mean effective radius and at least one of the faces of the needle bearing on the first disk and second disk likewise are so conically formed that under axial and counter-forces the needle bearing faces necessarily run parallel. On their confronting surfaces the disks (25,26) are peripherally grooved to varying depth to guidably house balls (31). Disk (25) is axially supported as against disk (26) which can adjust axially so transmitting axial forces onto a pressure disk (37). This disk (37) is loaded over a second larger effective radius by counter-forces. One of the contact faces for bearing (36) on disk (26) and on disk (37) is conically formed so the needle bearing contact faces run parallel under axial and counter-forces.
|
