Method for simplifying access to screen contents in which a whole image is portrayed on a monitor and areas of the image are assigned functions which, if clicked on using a cursor, lead to the display of area-specific content. Thus in a medical system if a particular area of a medical image is clicked on a related question can be routed to the relevant specialist.
