The rodent trap (11) drives out or kills the rodents with energy such as electrical energy, light or sound. The energy for driving out and/or killing the rodents can be combined with mechanical processes. Radioactivity can also be used to kill the rodents. Highly ionizing radiation can also be used to kill the rodents. Thermal energy can also be used.
