The stepless drive for a bicycle has the pedal levers of a bottom bracket bearing connected through connecting rods (2/2.1) to lever arms (3/3.1) upon which are located adjusting devices (9/9.1). The adjusting devices are then connected to toothed racks (4/4.1) through gear rings (5/5.1) and through freewheels (5.2/5.3) to the rear wheel (7). The adjusting devices are designed so that in the end position over the fixed rotational point the toothed racks execute no more movement.
