The invention relates to an automatic roll-change system for use in the production corrugated cardboard. Corrugated cardboard is produced using corrugators comprising various machines which are disposed in series and which include, among others, a double gluing machine and a drying bench, between which the operator manually cuts and/or joins the rolls of corrugated cardboard in order to produce the cardboard strip. According to the invention, the following elements are disposed between the aforementioned double gluing machine and drying bench, namely: first and second automatic cutting means, first and second means for joining the outer and inner channels respectively, and control means which are used to perform the above-mentioned automatic cutting and joining operations.
