<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably develop performance under rapid accelerated and decelerated operations when a cylindrical roller bearing is operated at high speeds by increasing the strength of the retainer of the cylindrical roller bearing. <P>SOLUTION: Where the radius of curvature at the corner part of the pocket 46 of the retainer 40 is r and the length of cylindrical roller 30 is Lw, the relation of r/Lw≥0.1 is established.
